Pouilly-Fumé 2022

The Pouilly-Fumé from Domaine Les Poëte is an elegant and refined white wine .

Grown on chalky and very stony soils (therefore well-drained), this Sauvignon Blanc expresses the typical profile of the appellation: dry, with a lively tension that brings with it splendid notes of green apple and wet stone. More discerning palates will notice subtle smoky hints on the finish.

The Les Poëte vineyard, founded by Guillaume Sorbe, covers 17 hectares in the Reuilly appellation in the Central Loire. Of these, 6.45 hectares are planted with vines, and the wines are praised by La Revue du Vin de France as top products of the Central Loire.

Les Poëte is synonymous with biodiversity and ecology. In addition to the vines, horses, sheep, bees and chickens are part of the ecosystem.
